About Us
Ithan Creek Woodworks was established in 2016 in a small garage and a box of coins. Growing up my dad loved two things, fixing things and collecting coins from the US Mints. Fixing things around the house I understood but the coins were a mystery.
Fast forward 25 years and my wife and I move into a tiny cottage outside Philadelphia. This cottage needed a little TLC and I caught the fix it bug. With very little disposable income I came across this box of coins my Dad had collected for some years. He told me to do what I wanted with them and I decided to “invest” in my own tools.
With that little investment started my path down woodworking and thus was born Ithan Creek Woodworks. Four years later, thousands of hours in the shop and learning from YouTube and my own mistakes and success I am excited to officially launch Ithan Creek Woodworks.
Ithan Creek Woodworks has become part of my everyday life since March of 2020 when my life of working as a chef came to a pause. Due to the global pandemic I was able to focus my mind and energy on Ithan Creek Woodworks. With newly honed skills, sharper tools, and plenty of time, I am ready to take Ithan Creek Woodworks to the next level of carpentry.
